Meet Ramona
Ramona Bishop is a seasoned human resources leader with 30 years’ experience in corporate and ministry organizations. Ramona has a passion for developing people and strengthening mission-driven workplaces. With more than two decades of executive experience, Ramona is known for her ability to balance organizational excellence with biblical integrity. Her leadership philosophy centers on clarity, consistency, compliance, and care—principles she believes are essential for cultivating healthy, high-performing teams.
She recently retired as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), where she led global HR initiatives that fostered alignment, accountability, and care across a diverse and international ministry team. Prior to a staff role at BSF she served as a Volunteer Group Leader, Substitute Teaching Leader, and a Teaching Leader in Florida and Georgia. She has served as a Volunteer BSF Leader for more than 30 years.
Ramona is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Organizational Leadership. She is a certified Human Resources Professional (PHR). She worked in Human Resources in the banking industry in Florida and Georgia for 20 years. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Christian Leadership Alliance.
Ramona has been married to her husband Rick for 45 years and has two grown children, with her first grandbaby due in July 2026. She is an avid outdoors enthusiast who enjoys fishing and spending time on the Texas coast.
